In creating my work I use a variety of both native and exotic timbers.

Wood is the most exciting and versatile material available and using it in my working life is both a pleasure and a privilege. My aim is to ensure that my practice does not have a negative impact upon the natural world. I strive to ensure that all materials used come from well-managed, sustainable sources. In practice this means only purchasing timbers from suppliers who have a formal responsible environmental purchasing policy.

When it comes to commissioned pieces, requirements and choices regarding timbers will be made according to the client's wishes.
